The P. Mauriat Black Pearl Series of saxophones are premiere, artist-level instruments that deliver immense tonal possibilities, yet also possess unparalleled aesthetic refinement. The large bore taper, combined with the enlarged bow and flared bell, enable resistance-free low notes and an omni-directional sound. The black nickel body plating helps deliver a dark, focused and silky sound. The 500 is ergonomically designed with left and right pinky tables, easy access side keys, extremely stable silver plated keywork with black pearl key touches and a ribbed construction give this saxophone unlimited possibilities.
